Celebrating 60 Years of Service to Californians

Since 1958, the California Scottish Rite Foundation has provided help and hope to Californians. Our Foundation is unique in supporting three distinct charitable programs:

  1. Scholarship Assistance for California Students pursuing both undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 2017, scholarship assistance amounting to over $200,000 was provided to 81 California students.
  2. Support Services for California’s Military Veterans to help ease the often difficult transition into civilian life. Along with trusted partner agencies, CSRF helps to provide funding for job training, legal services and temporary housing for Veterans in need.
  3. Speech-Language Therapy without charge at 14 RiteCare Childhood Language Centers in communities across California to help children overcome a wide range of communication disorders including dyslexia. Children depend on therapy at RiteCare to help them learn to speak clearly, improve comprehension and reading skills. During 2017, the Foundation provided over 30,600 hours of therapy to over 2,300 children. The cost to our Foundation for providing these services amounted to approximately $2,909,000.

CSRF gratefully acknowledges the dedication and financial support of Scottish Rite Masons throughout the Orient of California and the generosity of countless friends in the community who graciously donate to help us improve the lives of children, students, and military veterans.

Cordially and Fraternally,

Frank Loui
President and Chairman of the Board
